Indoor study in the university campus

GENASIS team analyzed rather heterogeneous data set of indoor air pollution samples using several methods to compare different samplers and an influence of rooms equipment to indoor air pollution.

The data was measured in the period of moving of the RECETOX to a new building in the university campus. Hypotheses on the increasing concentration of (brominated) flame retardants after the equipment (furniture, carpets and computers) of the rooms were tested (mostly with negative results). Also similarities of measured profiles and an influence of a type of the sampler (hi-vol, mid-vol and low-vol active and PUF passive samplers) to a concentration of 52 pollutants were assessed.
