Brominated compounds in mountain regions of China
The support of the GENASIS team was used in the preparation of an article for a high impact factor scientific journal, where GIS was used for spatial analyses and creation of maps.
The study dealt with the concentrations of brominated compounds and flame retardants in 159 samples from 30 mountain sites in China, focusing on possible relationships between the substances’ abundance in soil and the potential influence of human activities and emissions at each site.
