The Czech Republic got featured on the Stockholm Convention website and prominently in the July-August 2016 issue of the BRS TA newsletter.

The National Centre for Toxic Compounds, the Stockholm Convention Regional Centre, in collaboration with its RECETOX large research infrastructure organized the 12th International Summer School on Toxic Substances in Brno, Czech Republic, 13-17 June 2016. There were more than 40 participants from 15 countries around the world.

RECETOX prepared an electronic tool – Global Monitoring Plan Data Warehouse – for United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) to support implementation of the Stockholm Convention in 2014. The GMP Data Warehouse provides information and global data on the occurrence of persistent organic pollutants in air, water and breast milk. Secretariat of the three chemicals and waste global environmental agreements (BRS secretariat) highlighted these outputs on Twitter (@brsmeas, https://twitter.com/brsmeas/status/741214377530019840) on 10 June 2016 and this tweet caught attention of almost 65,000 users in a week!
